AV Unit on ice

It was a raucous awards event for our long time client Cobra Group plc. at the huge National Ice Centre in Nottingham.The show was simultaneously translated into several languages for the three and a half thousand audience and used up a staggering 434 sqm of red carpet, a 15.4m x 21.9m stage, over 14 tons of flown equipment including over 92 square metres of screens and visual displays. It took 32 staff over two days to create and run the event and we are glad to say that it all went like clockwork!..

The Fonz rounds off a successful tour

This year we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of The Teaching Awards, the programme that aims to highlight excellence and to encourage best practice in teaching.Our crew toured in 3 trucks covering 2,396 miles each visiting Canterbury, Winchester, Norwich, Belfast, Bath, Cardiff, Liverpool, Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Torquay, Gaydon and London.In Belfast one of our crew inadvertently made the news! He had found himself in the middle of an anti-Bush protest and was interviewed by BBC News. In the London venue Henry Winkler (aka The Fonz)..
