At AV Unit we love anything that’s different or a little bit off the wall; it keeps us on the ball and tries out our creativity. When we were approached to provide audio visual equipment, staging and support for Red Bull’s Flight School College 2010, we knew we were in for something different, and so jumped at the chance.

Held at Bentwaters Park, with the main conference arena housed in a hangar – where else could have been more suitable? – Red Bull’s Wings Teams were put through their paces. The Wings Teams are the high-octane promoters of the energy drink and are the people you see driving around in the blue and red minis with a gigantic can of Red Bull on the back.

So as you can imagine, this was far from being a mundane event. From conference to club atmosphere, we had to ensure the hangar switched from training room to a rave-worthy space allowing the Wings Teams to ‘party’ (as only they can) at the end of the day.
