AV Unit recognises that our operations have an effect on the local, regional and global environment. As a results of this, we are committed to continual improvements to reduce our impact on the environment.
We will use environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice as a minimum standard of environmental performance and seek to better them.
We will help all of our employees to understand our objectives and how they affect their day-to-day working.

- Endeavour to use environmentally safe and sustainable energy sources to meet our needs. We will invest in improved energy efficiency products.

- Build partnerships with suppliers who share our objectives and consider their impact on the environment.
- Offer solutions to our clients to offset the environmental impact of the products and services we supply.
Fairtrade
AV Unit is committed to supporting Fairtrade and we have pledged to use Fairtrade products where possible. We take steps to educate our workforce and encourage them to share in the Fairtrade ethos, which is;
- To guarantee third world farmers a fair and stable price for their products.
- To provide extra income to third world farmers and estate workers to improve their lives.
- To create a greater respect for the environment.
- To build a stronger position for the third world farmers in the world markets.
- To maintain a stronger link between consumers and producers.
